A group of young kids where asked on who they want to be the next leaders of our country and here where some of their answers;

Jenny: " Gusto nako kanang buotan ug dili pala away, kanang makasabot sa akoa"

Marco: "Kanang manghatag ug dulaan"

Jay: " Kanang makapaeskwela sakoa... lisod gud muskwela"

Diana: " Kanang dili talawan"

These were some of the answers given by these young kids who can not vote but is in need of leaders who will look after their welfare and prepare the Philippines so that the country can provide a bright future for their generation!

Digos Cityt is in need of change. The cry of every individual in Digos is KAUSABAN. "Ayaw pakyasa ang hangyo sa kabataan na ang kabaguhan atong isulong para mausab ang dagan sa gobyerno sa digos ug mahimong mas malambuon ang Digos."- Digos City Probe

HAPPY EASTER DIGOS CITY

Digos City Celebrates Easter Sunday, Thousands of people gather in the streets to participate in the traditional "Sugat" of the Risen Jesus Christ and the Holy Virgin Mother Mary as to relive the event on eater morning three days after the death of Jesus Christ as the Bible states.

For many, this is a day of great celebration but for some politicians it is a time to meet and greet their friends and supporters. Grab the opportunity as they say.

Well he message was clear; LET US BE REAL CHRISTIANS AND RECONCILE TO LIVE A BETTER LIFE OF SERVICE. This is meant for the people seeking public office.

PROBE; NPC vs NP Proclamation Rally

Two Big events in Digos City took place on two separate dates, opposing sites and very different outcomes.

Nationalist Peoples Coalition Party (NPC) holds their proclamation rally at the Primera of Campaign Period, last March 26, 2010 at Rizal Park Digos City. Taking Center Stage, Claude Auding Bautista(Provincial Standard Bearer-NPC) faces a crowd of people representing 26 barangays in Digos city. Reportedly and as experienced, people were again expecting food as a token of gratitude for the peoples presence in the event but sadly not everyone got a piece of the pie! Their where notable people present in the event such as Barangay Captain Juanito Morales(Kapatagan) and the Brother of the late Isidro Sarmiento to supposedly shed light on the controversial Sarmiento Massacre that swept the hearts of Davao del Sur.
" Dili sala ni Claude ang pagkamatay sa akong igsoon, usa kini ka Aksidente" in a way, I seem to see loop holes in this statement. I think a lot of Digosenos also saw the same hole I did.

Certainly, it was a feisty event for the ABANTE DIGOS since they made the event an opportunity to bombard the TEAM KAUSABAN with a lot of personal and very awkward statements. some of which are notably discussed by Hon. Reynaldo Hermosisisma who did nothing but praise A. Bautista and pin down the Cagas family and The Team Kausaban members! Santino certainly made his name notable with his actions!

On the other hand...

Nationalista party held their proclamation rally at Freedom Park of Digos City near LYR. Thousands of people came to witness the event. organizers where overwhelmed with the numbers they where seeing even to the extent that they had to pull in more resources to support the event! People saw a different scenario since their where now bombarding of issues against the other party in this event it was purely a proclamation rally held with all the people who saw eye to eye with TEAM GARBO AND TEAM KAUSABAN. NP Standard bearer for the Province, Dodo Cagas together with Josef Cagas of Digos City made sure that the event would really make a mark in history. Vic Cadungog and the councilors delivered powerful statements of strength, principles, leadership. Shedding light on the bright future of Digos City as TEAM KAUSABAN sits in governance!

One of the notable events where Isidro Sarmiento Jr., Son of the late Isidro Sarmiento Sr. gave his statement of conviction countering the statement of his uncle made in the NPC party. Pinning down the event to Claude Auding Peralta Bautista as the culprit of the massacre.

The people of Digos is left to decide if what Marlan Malnegro said is true; " Gilangaw ang Rally ni DODO"

As for me; "I think we know the answer!"

PROBE; POLITICAL NUISANCES and LEADERSHIP RETARDS

We are sorry for changing the course of this blogs write ups due to some circumstances that will further be explained as we continue with the next articles.

Let me note the following statements:

Y4C answers: "Ayaw parehaa ang among incoming Vice mayor sa inyong incumbent Vice mayor na sa pila ka tuig nag serbisyo wala ka ila ug legislative agenda. Dakog kalabotan ang vice mayor sa pag kabut ug paspas na kalamboan. Mao diay walay pag lambo ang digos sa pila ka tuig kay wala man diay kaila ug Legislative jurist diction ang atong opisyales. mao diay gusto mu abante kay ang nahibalan niya ang mayor mulambo jud. tungod sa mga oportunity mangurakot! WHY NOW? How many years nangalagad, now lang sila nag decide muabante?"

Y4C answers: " Ang mga JO nagtrabaho na . if they are earning anything they earned it! kay nanarbaho sila ana. mao na ayaw na ibuybuy! and nganu di man mubarog si Atty. Vic Cadungog nga kabalo man siya na mali jud na , and ang trabaho sa kponsehal mao ang mahimong sangunian sa mga tao! mao gani SP na inyong luna!. He is doing hes duty as a City Councilor!"

Their are a lot of nonsense issues being raised by these so called Community leaders like M. Malnegro and " BEMBOL" and other ABANTEROS that are far from reality and common sense!


For how many times Y4C or YOuth For Cadungog kept quiet in the midst of political rivalries and just stood their ground in letting people know who Atty. Vic and Dr. Ching Cadungog are but in their stillness ABANTE DIGOS and its leaders started a few moves like;

THREATENING, personal attacks on the radio and foolish moves to destabilize the consciousness of the voters!

PAGSURE MO UY! ABANTE? ATRAS GURO!!!

Vic, as fondly known by peers has been a trend setter in political adds this election but much more than that he is also one of the most watched candidates right now. This is due to his very firm stands on current issues that directly attest to the opponents mishaps such as the JO's Bonuses that the city Administration failed to grant after saying that they would do so. Other from that, he also made moves to highlight his legislative power even to the very time of election fever and has caused a lot of issues to be shed light on, and the harsh part about it is it always points the blame on either PENAS or HERMOSISIMA as proponents of the said mishaps. Strong and very principled, this man has always stood up for what is right.

Team Kausaban offers the alternative as a cure to the present state of the city that we all see as a problem. Heading a team of leaders, volunteers and other Parallel groups that advocate for chance in the city to push forth progress and development.

THE PLATFORM OF GOVERNMENT (Furnished to us immediately by Atty Vic Himself!)
Here is my Platform of Government;

1. To prepare a legislative agenda for inclusion in the Executive Agenda for the priority action of the Sangguniang Panglungsod; ;
2. To help provide college scholarship in the amount of TEN MILLION PESOS (Php10, 000, 000.00) annually;
3. To work for the construction of a Digos City Public Hospital;
4. To continue giving Civic Actions (Oplan Gupit, Free Legal Services, Libre BP, Health Teaching, Free Medicines) throughout Digos City, not only per Barangay but by Purok as well;
5. To work for the establishment of Digos City Bloodbank;
6. To work for an integrated Urban Development plan of Digos city;
7. To work for a comprehensive drainage system for the City of Digos;
8. To provide free consultation, medicine and hospitalization for the Senior Citizens who are residents of Digos City;
9. To help for the establishment of training center for youth, farms and fishermen;
10. To help for the establishment of regular basketball, volleyball and chess tournament in the City of Digos;
11. To work for the issuance of Philhealth ID’s and benefits to Digos City Constituents;
12. Provide for medical assistance for the indigent residents of Digos City;
13. To work for the acquisition of a twenty hectares land, more or less for the expansion of Digos City Poblacion area and accelerates the development of the urban area of Digos;
14. To work for a new modern cemetery, slaughter house and an auction place for farm animals, vegetables and fowls.
15. To work for the establishment of a one stop office for investors and tourists;
16. To work for the benefits of the government workers especially the regular employees and job order workers;
17. To work for the benefit of the farmers, fishermen, market vendors including the sidewalk vendors;
18. Tourism development.
19. Other needs that maybe seen and considered

THE CITY VICE MAYORS RACE

THE RACE FOR THE NEXT CHIEF LEGISLATOR OF DIGOS is on.
Atty. Vic Cadungog and Atty. Rey Hermosisima along with Hon. Romy Crispino is seeking the seat of the next City Vice Mayor. The next PROBES will be to see who these three men are and what have they to offer the people of Digos City.

They are seasonal City Councilors and are very well known in their own rights. But as statistics indicate, the race is between the 2 Lawyers Atty. Vic Cadungog and Atty. Rey Hermosisima.
Let us see where this will lead us as both candidates belong to two of the rival parties in Digos, the Nationalista Party(NP) and the Nationalist Peoples Coalition (NPC). Along these lines we see some groups forming in the citezenry to support them such as the ABANTE Digos YOUTH and
the YOUTH For CADUNGOG (Y4C) which are initiatives of the youth to make their stand in the up coming elections!

We will be probing this very closely 'coz a lot of issues surround these individuals that the people need to know and determine the validity and get to the truth of these matters!
